Kelly Bremner

     Kelly is a multimedia theatre artist who is interested in Total Theatre and fascinated by the integration of music, theatre, media, poetry and dance.

     Her expertise in singing-acting has been sought after by the Ryan Opera Center at the Chicago Lyric Opera where she has taught acting workshops. She is also an active literary dramaturg offering assistance to playwrights through places such as the Barter Theatre’s Appalachian Festival of Plays and Playwrights, and beyond.  

     Recent directing credits include Disgraced, Eurydice, Cabaret, and The Other Side of the Mountain. Acting credits include Lady Macbeth (Macbeth), Corryn (Gideon’s Knot), Lily (Why We have a Body), and Meg in the world premiere of Conjure at Emory &  Henry College.

 

     Upcoming productions include the world premiere of Conjure with Emory & Henry College in April of 2019, the world premiere of BREAD with Full Sun Theatre at the Portfring Fest in June of 2019, and The Curious Incident of the Dog in Nighttime at Emory & Henry College in February of 2020.

 

     Bremner holds a Ph.D in Theatre from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
